Mooresville, NC - The DSE Test Car put on quite a
show this past weekend in Nashville, capturing the third
consecutive Vendor Autocross Challenge by sneaking by Brad
Croomer and the Air Ride Technologies Mustang with a time of
25.692. Driving the Test Car was Kyle Tucker who along side
Stacy has put many, many miles on the Test Car on
Autocrosses all across the country.
This Autocross, though, was a bit different. While the Test car took
a (much needed) break at times during the weekend, Kyle and
Stacy were on hand to provide their expertise in helping
customers maximize performance on their DSE equipped Muscle
Cars by driving the customer's car on the Autocross and
providing invaluable feedback on the car's performance.
When Stacy was asked about the experience she replied, "The
cars we drove were incredibly well sorted out. They drove
well, handled well and looked good on the course. We really
didn’t adjust them much at all. It’s good to see that the
components were doing their job. From a handling standpoint,
it was like all of them were built by the same person, which
is what we’ve always wanted to accomplish. We’re glad these
cars were there and proud of their owners for taking them
out and racing them like that.”
The Autocross put on by Air
Ride is definitely paying dividends in the Pro-Touring /
G-Machine market.
"These guys are building some
great handling cars. It’s really rewarding for me to see the
caliber of cars they’re building and the fact that they’re
using our components is flattering. These are the caliber of
cars that two years ago would have been trailered to and
from shows and now they’re being driven to the events and
autocrossed on top of that. We’re really excited to see the
cars being used like they were intended to be. It was a lot
of fun helping everyone with their fine tuning. We met some
really nice people and drove some spectacular cars. It hit
me when I was driving Bobby Alloway’s Camaro, I probably
have the coolest job in the world.”

Be sure to see Kyle & Stacy
and the DSE Test Car coming up at the Goodguys, Columbus
Nationals from July 11-13. And if you don't see Kyle or
Stacy and the Test Car at the booth, I guarantee you if you
head over to the Autocross it will be there going for four
in a row!
