Columbus, OH – Detroit Speed & Engineering was honored Saturday night to receive an award for being a top five finalist for the Street Machine of the Year. DSE submitted Dale Earnhardt Jr's 1972 Camaro which was unveiled Friday morning before an eager crowd of spectators. We were proud to be in the same company with some of the best builders in the country.

The Street Machine of the Year award is a very prestigious award and can virtually be a spring board for your company and your builder status. Kyle and Stacy Tucker won this award in 2000 with their "Twister" Camaro which they eventually sold to start Detroit Speed & Engineering.

Congratulations to the eventual winner "The Reactor" and all of the other finalists. We always have a great time at the Goodguys shows and look forward to more in the future.
