SUBFRAME
CONNECTORS
Detroit Speed and
Engineering's weld-in subframe connectors are fabricated from 2" x 3"
rectangular steel tubing. They increase the car's stiffness by
connecting the front subframe to the rear frame rails. The subframe
connectors conform to the original floorpan and are designed to be
completely welded. The connectors are installed so that they are barely
visible from underneath the car. They have milled slots that conform to
the rear seat floor pan. The connectors are bent and TIG welded in a
fixture for accuracy and repeatability. Our weld-in connectors are supplied with templates and instructions for
installation. |
