This is an
exclusive LED sequential tail light system for 1967-1969 Camaros that was developed by American Auto Wire on Detroit Speed and Engineering project vehicles. No cutting or splicing of wires is required. These lights significantly improve the vehicle's visibility, safety, and aesthetics. The kit uses 128 high intensity LED's and has a special diffusion material that covers the lens for even distribution of the light and eliminates the spottiness normally associated with LED lighting.
Pigtail versions of these lights are also
available to allow you to keep your existing rear body harness intact
and simply splice the kit into your existing wiring.
The working functions of the tail lights are modified from the original factory use. The modification provides improved safety by allowing the inner lens to remain as a constant brake light while the outer lens is used for both brake and turn signal operation.
