DSE 1965 CHEVELLE TEST CAR |
THE
CAR: 1965 Chevelle. The car
currently has the stock 327 4-barrel with a power glide transmission, but
look for a new powerplant and driveline soon. This is a one owner car that
we purchased in 2001. Some of you may remember this Chevelle from the 2001
Power Tour in which Kyle and Stacy drove the car cross-country in its stock
configuration from Detroit, MI to San Bernardino, CA THE PROJECT: The DSE 1965 Test Chevelle is used for engineering design and development for our A-Body products. This car receives all of our early prototype parts for testing. We use data acquisition to collect data on the road and on the track. This Test Chevelle is always evolving due to development of new DSE products. It currently has the DSE Speed Kit 3 in the front which includes our Tubular Upper and Lower Control Arms, Unique Forged Spindle, Coilover Shocks and Springs, and our Splined Sway Bar. The rear suspension consists of our Swivel Links, Chassis Brace Kit, and Coilover Shocks and Springs. Notice the wheel and tire fitment; along with the stance of the car. THE OWNER: This Chevelle is owned by Kyle Tucker of DSE and will be on display at the DSE trailer at various shows across the country. |
