THE CAR: 1969 "Silver Spur" Camaro with a Ramjet ZL1 big block engine.
THE PROJECT: The "Silver Spur" built by Renown Auto Restoration in San Antonio for the Mills family is a classic 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. The project started as a rusted out hulk and was transformed into the crowd pleaser that it is today. The car was built for two primary reasons—to bring enjoyment for many car enthusiasts and to raise money for children through the non-profit San Antonio Spurs Foundation. For the project, DSE donated its QUADRA Link™ Rear Suspension, Along with that DSE also donated their Dash Insert, Firewall Fillplate, Selecta-Speed Wiper Kit and our DSE Coilover Front Suspension. THE OWNER: Larry Mills plans on displaying this unique Camaro all over the country to benefit the Spurs Foundation. |
