Come down to the Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, SC May 4th-5th for the ASCS “Run to the Ole South.” It’ll be a weekend full of fun and racing including camping out under the stars and a Low Country Boil Saturday night after the events.

Driving his DSE "Equipped" 1972 Nova, Billy Utley took home his first ASCS event winning the 2012 Run to the Shore by capturing first place in the autocross, the speed stop squared and by nailing a top five finish on the road course.

Testing, testing and more testing. Detroit Speed believes any chance to put miles on and beat up our Test Cars is beneficial for us as much as it is our customer. We had the chance to do that Saturday, April 7th at the zMax Dragway parking lot near the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

So much for that perfect California weather. It was a cold and damp weekend out in Del Mar for the 12th Goodguys Del Mar Nationals. Fortunately, that didn't stop the large crowds from gathering or the huge amount of vehicles from competing in the autocross throughout the weekend.

After the partial rain-out during the 1st Annual Run to the Alamo event in February, the racing gods gave the American Street Car Series a break with a picture perfect California weekend for the Run to the Coast.
