Picture perfect weather provided Goodguys with a terrific two-day event at the Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. There were thousands of cars and even more attendees as far as your eyes could see.

The Goodguys Show season got off to an interesting twist in Scottsdale as the weather wasn't exactly what we are used to seeing for the desert. Friday started out rainy and cold with storms that actually brought some small hail in the afternoon.

It is now official, the American Street Car Series will once again be invading South Carolina and the 2.3 mile road course at Carolina Motorsports Park for Detroit Speed's "Southern Slam" in Kershaw, SC April 20th - April 21st.

2012 was a fantastic year for Detroit Speed that saw us launch our new Mustang line of products, capture a Best New Product Award at Goodguys Columbus, win the Toyota Dream Build Challenge at SEMA, be featured on the Detroit Speed Hot Rod TV episode and watched our Test Cars capture many trophies at the numerous competitions across the country.

As they always say, the third time is the charm. That turned out to be the case for Kyle Tucker during the 2012 Score Baja 1000. Kyle along with the rest of the team driving for BFGoodrich Tires in the BC2 buggy in the Baja Challenge Class got out to large lead and managed to hang on to 1st place after some issues slowed them down with about 100 miles to go.
