Now you can achieve rack and pinion steering performance with a bolt-in steering gear. This steering gear can be used to replace the common GM 800 series power steering gear used from 1964 to 1992. The 600 steering gear is available with a 12.7:1 ratio.

This part is no longer available and has been replaced by part number 090215DS. For the 1978-88 G-Body and the 1982-1992 Camaro applications, a steering shaft kit will be needed. (Detroit Speed P/N: 092519). For the 1982-92 Camaro/Firebird application, modification to the steering gear housing will be required.
